1) Why did you choose A Level Media Studies?

I chose A Level media studies because I really enjoyed media at gcse and I want to get into the marketing and business field so I thought this subject would be a good choice for the future.

2) Did you take GCSE Media Studies (either here at Greenford or a different school)?

Yes I did take GCSE media in Greenford.

3) If you answered yes to Q2, what grade did you achieve in GCSE Media? What coursework task did you complete? What would you say your strengths and weaknesses were in GCSE Media?

I achieved a grade 8 in gcse media and we created 2 video adverts as our coursework task. My strengths were that I was able to memorize key details within exam content well but my weakness was that I didn't use enough clips in my coursework adverts that could have improved my coursework.

4) What grade do you hope to achieve in A Level Media?

I hope to achieve an A*.

5) What are your current thoughts about your next steps after A Levels - university, apprenticeship, work?

I want to go to University but I am not sure which one yet and I would like to work in the marketing and business field when I am older.

6) What do you think the biggest MEDIA story of 2025 has been and why?

There has been a lot of huge news about politics in the media this year and one of the biggest things was the re-election of the President of the USA which was big as it had a lot of controversy surrounding it from people all around the world.

7) What media sources do you use to find out about news and current affairs?

I use social media apps and the news app on my phone but you can also read it on the newspaper.

8) What was the last film you watched?

The last film I watched was New York Minute.

9) What is your favourite ever TV series?

My favourite TV series is either The OC or Outer Banks.

10) How many hours do you spend online in an average day? Is this too little, too much or about right? Why? (If you have an iPhone you can use Screen Time to get an accurate figure of how much you use your phone).

Around 7 hours which is quite a bit and I mostly use it for entertainment but then also studying during the time of school and exams sometimes.
